Snow

I went skiing today on a chairlift for the first time of the season.
Its always nice to get the season started again.
I am thankful I was able to ski every month this year except September which I almost don't want to count because I skied really early in October.
All of this skiing was done on snow. What a great year!
If you include skiing on astroturf or snow-flex then I probably haven't been 2 weeks without skiing in a couple of years.
I am also thankful for MacKenzie, being married to your best friend is great.
Other things I am thankful for include:
My family and my wonderful and supportive parents
My education
The home I am living in
The mountains
Music
and my health.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone

Not too worried about it

School has started. Its pretty time consuming but not very difficult conceptually at this point.
I am doing my clinical work at the VA hospital on foothill drive. Super convenient location :)
I've really liked it there so far. I've worked with people on kidney dialysis and a couple days in the SICU.
School is great too. Class time can get tedious though.
We work in a simulation lab where we work with either dummies that present diseases or acting volunteers.
This week we had our first acting volunteer. I was surprised to find myself a little anxious while working with her.
School is good though. I'm regularly finding myself too busy to get a lot of things done that I wish I could
Like yard work and even basic things like remembering to eat dinner.
Anyway, Im not too worried about it.
